The commitment to advanced technology is most evident to the market place in the pioneering of the design-assist delivery model spearheaded by the Enclos Studio, a team of technical specialists with expertise in system design, structural glass facades, emerging materials, complex geometry and parametric workflows, thermal analysis, acoustical analysis, advanced visualization and prototyping.

ADVANCED TECHNIQUES

3D PROTOTYPING

3D printing and prototyping are used extensively throughout all phases of project delivery, including getting to full, 1:1 scale as early as possible in the design process.

VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTION

A talented team of visualization specialists use Virtual Construction to model and simulate the project-specific construction techniques Enclos field crews intend to execute.

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM)

BIM is a standard technique used during design development and engineering to identify clashes between trades. Enclos has long been viewed as a pioneer as it relates to the integration of BIM into the delivery of custom façade systems.

PARAMETRIC DESIGN

An adjustable, variable-driven, logic approach to modeling, Parametric Design may be utilized on projects with complex geometry and/or geometry that is vulnerable to change during the design development phase.

PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

Using a proprietary software amendment to Inventor, Production Engineering allows part drawings to be directly read by CNC manufacturing machines.

MANUFACTURING

Manufacturing uses the same proprietary software for intelligent inventory and tracking through the fabrication and assembly cycles.

THE STUDIOS, MANUFACTURING AND FIELD

The Studios, Manufacturing and Field collaborate to proactively identify errors in the shop – either an Enclos shop or from a supplier – using metrology laser scanning to verify materials are within tolerance and minimize errors on site.
