SunAmerica Center

SunAmerica Center at 1999 Avenue of the Stars is the 3rd tallest building in Century City, a large business district in Los Angeles’ Westside that is populated by numerous Class A office towers. It is the 23rd tallest building in Los Angeles and consists of 39-stories.

Enclos’ design team developed a custom curtainwall for the architect on this project. Glass was the primary cladding material in six different vision and spandrel panels, with opaque panel materials used as a design element on the facade. Glass panes were pre-glazed to frames built from fabricated aluminum extrusions in a nearby assembly plant. These units were produced in a sequence as required to support the installation crews.

This project received the BOMA International Office Building of the Year Award, 2001/2002.
