Originally built as a military tank assembly plant in 1940, SOM renovated 365 Main Street into a 227,000 square foot office for AboveNet’s San Francisco home in 2002. Upgrades to the concrete building included a seismic base isolation system to maintain operations during and after an earthquake, and glazing by Enclos.
The LEED Gold facility is now known as the SFO12 Data Center, which provides secure colocation and cloud interconnection services.
Enclos concurrently provided glazing for AboveNet’s El Segundo location.
