30 Hudson Yards

30 Hudson Yards (Tower A) is part of The Hudson Yards project in New York which has been coined the largest private real estate development in the history of the United States. It is located at the southwest corner of 33rd Street and 10th Avenue, just east of the High Line’s northern terminus. Completed in 2019, 30 Hudson Yards rises to 73 stories and stands at 1268´ tall – becoming the second tallest office building in New York. The Class-A office tower was designed by Kohn Pederson Fox and will feature the highest exterior observation deck in the city at 1,121´ in the sky. 30 Hudson Yards has become home to many companies, most notably Time Warner Inc.

Enclos was awarded the contract for design, fabrication/assembly, and installation of Tower A’s curtainwall enclosure system. The glass-sheathed building tapers upward and will be topped with an angled triangle above the projecting observation deck and includes several unique wall types, similar to those on the completed 10 Hudson Yards.

Additionally, Enclos recently completed the 34th St Canopies at Hudson Yards that provide access to the new 7 line subway extension.
