The Facade Tectonics Vitruvian Honors & Awards Program recognizes unprecedented innovation and achievements in the field of facade design and delivery.
During the virtual ceremony, SFMOMA was announced the winner of the Outstanding Facade Innovation award. Projects in this award category were evaluated in the overarching context of innovation and sustainability, including diverse considerations ranging from design concepts to project delivery strategies, supply chain management and lifecycle performance attributes. SFMOMA is the first and largest all-composite exterior building facade in the United States. Enclos was recognized by Kreysler & Associates as the key member of the collaborative effort to design, fabricate, and install the fiberglass reinforced polymer (FRP) unitized facade system.
FTI’s Vitruvian Honors & Awards Committee worked collaboratively to develop seven distinct categories emblematic of the Institute’s vision and mission that celebrate innovation, collaboration and achievement within the AECO industry including project awards for Outstanding New Facade, Facade Renovation, Facade Preservation, Facade Innovation, and Facade Integration and people awards for Collaborative Achievement and Unsung Hero.
