ENR West has named Jamul Casino Resort the 2026 Southern California Best Residential/Hospitality Project. The annual competition reviewed 131 projects across California and Hawaii, with award winners recognized for their contribution to the industry and community, safety, construction and design quality.

Located in Jamul, California, the 16-story, 253,951 square foot hotel features 200 rooms, an event center, multi-purpose hall, rooftop terrace, pool and spa was constructed adjacent to the existing three-story casino. The tower is defined by its highly glazed exterior with a 10-story fritted logo. Enclos provided design-assist and design-build services for 126,921 square feet of facade, including a custom unitized curtainwall system with vertical fins, louvers, and composite and metal panels.

Additional award-winning projects featuring Enclos enclosures include the San Diego International Airport’s Terminal 1, which received an Award of Merit in the Airport/Transit category, and UCI Health’s new medical campus in Irvine, California, which received an Award of Merit in the Healthcare category. For the new terminal, Enclos provided design-assist and design-build services for 365,000 square feet of facade, including custom unitized curtainwall, unitized clerestory windows, a curved glass entrance wall with AESS support, and a glass canopy. For UCI Health, Enclos developed and implemented 170,000 square feet of custom unitized curtainwall and storefront systems inspired by the colors of the adjacent nature reserve.
