The Washington Building Congress (WBC) held its annual Craftsmanship Awards event on March 16, 2018, in Washington, D.C. The event honored outstanding skills and achievements of individual craftsmen in the WBC regional construction community. Enclos’ very own project team on 600 Massachusetts Avenue in Washington, D.C. was selected for the Craftsmanship Award in the Doors + Windows category for exterior glass. read full postThe Science Channel’s BUILDING GIANTS next episode will air Thursday, January 18th at 9 pm (EST) spotlighting New York City’s 53W53 also known as the MoMA Tower. This elegant supertall skyscraper will ultimately soar above the southern end of Central Park in midtown Manhattan and be one of the city’s tallest residential towers. Standing at 77-stories tall, featuring 145 condominium residences 53W53 will fall nothing short of luxurious amenities. Enclos is working alongside Lendlease to install nearly 400,000 square feet of curtainwall upon the unique diagrid structure.

The bi-annual conference gathers international designers, engineers, researchers and industry partners to discuss architectural and structural glass. Rogers will present Laser Tracking Metrology: An Integrated Fabrication Process for Geometrically Complex Facade Systems, and Bensend will present Maximizing the Twist of Cold Formed Glazing in the Curved and Bent Glass track.
