The Oculus
The World Trade Center Transportation Hub also known as The Oculus is Spanish-born architect Santiago Calatrava’s masterpiece. The hub is the only facility on the World Trade Center open to the public and serves as a train station, plaza, and shopping mall. The structure features an operable glass skylight that opens on the anniversary of the September 11th attacks. Since it’s opening the structure has attracted tourists and visitors from all over the world.
