BLOOMINGTON, MN — Enclos is thrilled to announce its new headquarters in the LEED Silver certified Northland Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. Northland Center is a two-building, 500,000 square foot Class A office park south of downtown Minneapolis, eight miles west of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. Located on a 13-acre site with immediate access to several interstates and highways, it provides streamlined connections to the Twin Cities.
Enclos will occupy the 3600 Building’s fifth floor. The space’s open plan utilizes a mix of huddle spaces, low profile cubicles and private offices to encourage collaboration and facilitate focused work. In addition, employees have access to the office park’s many on-site amenities, including Isabella’s Café, a full-service cafeteria offering breakfast, lunch and catering, a 5,000 square foot fitness center, dry cleaning drop off, car wash/detailing services, and multiple outdoor plazas.
“Our new headquarters is an investment in the health and wellness of our employees and the environment,” said Mandy Thorsteinson, Vice President of People and Culture at Enclos. “It will also help us attract and retain top talent so that we can continue to deliver industry-leading building facade systems well into the future.”
Northland Center was the first existing suburban office building in the Twin Cities to achieve Leadership in Energy and Environmental (LEED) Operations and Maintenance (O+M) Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The building’s owner, KBS , obtained the certification by improving site management, water efficiency, building energy performance, and operations. The office is also ENERGY STAR and WELL Health & Safety rated. The property’s transportation infrastructure includes electric vehicle chargers and secure bicycle storage (with access to the property’s locker and shower facilities).
The move is part of Enclos’ commitment to a more sustainable built environment. In addition to regular reviews of the carbon impact of our business practices, the firm launched an initiative in 2023 analyzing all life-cycle stages of a curtainwall unit, culminating with two Environmental Product Declarations.
The relocation to Northland Center comes after 22 years in the Grand Oak Business Park in Eagan, Minnesota.
