10 Hudson Yards Wins 2019 Award of Excellence for Facade Engineering

10 Hudson Yards is announced as CTBUH’s Facade Engineering Award recipient. The tower was the first of six structures to be completed on the Hudson Yards development and opened in May of 2016. The structure is 52-stories and stands at an impressive 878´ and has earned LEED Gold Certification. Enclos was awarded the design contract for fabrication, assembly, and installation of the curtainwall system. The unitized curtainwall system includes multiple wall types – including glazed shingled surfaces – with typical unit configurations measuring wide and 13´6˝ tall. When complete the Hudson Yards development will feature a collection of shops, restaurants, offices, and private residences.
