The wait for San Francisco’s “Thrive City” is finally over! The new state of the art sports and entertainment complex has been completed after a 30-month long construction schedule and is gearing up to host its first event on September 6. The mixed-use development sits on an 11-acre site and will feature an 18,000-seat arena, two 11-story office buildings, a glass enclosed gatehouse, retail, and public spaces that space over 3.2 acres.
The arena will be the new home of the Golden State Warriors and will host approximately 200 events annually. Enclos was awarded the design-assist and installation of the arena. The Enclos team fabricated and installed 160,000 square feet of rain-screen mega-panels and secondary structure. Furthermore, Enclos’ scope also included the Chase Center Towers which consists of two 11-story office buildings that will house offices for Uber’s new corporate headquarters.
Chase Center Development will seek LEED Gold certification now that it has been completed.
